The true Prizetaker Onion is globe-shape, has pale yel- low skin and white flesh, which is very mild and of delicate flavor. No sets are required, as the large Onions are grown the first year from seed sown during the spring. This is a good variety of Onion for sowing under glass in February for transplant- ing. The outer skin is pale yellow, and the flesh creamy white. The bulbs are of a beautiful globe shape, and grow a little larger than the Southport Red Globe. It is of a globe shape, with light straw-colored skin and white flesh, which is very mild and tender. The plant is healthy and will stand much bad weather.
