King Tut's chariot is unveiled and joins the "Tutankhaman and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit in Times Square

King Tut's chariot is unveiled and joins the "Tutankhaman and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit at the Discovery Times Square Exposition in New York on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. The exhibit marks the first time that the collection of treasures from the pharaoh's tomb has been displayed in the city since the blockbuster show at the Metropolitan Museum in 1979. The sleek and light wood frame chariot was discovered in 1922 and joins the 130 other objects from ancient Egypt at the show. (© Richard B. Levine)
