Sensorial homonculus (or homonculus). The sensorial homonculu is a representation of the human body, distorted so as to reflect the relative importance of each region of the body at the level of the somatosensorial cortex. The most sensible parts of the body (the richest in sensorial receptors) occuppy a more important place : face, hands, sex, feet.
