Head blood-red mixed Avith fuscous, a white bar tibovc frous, the basal joint of antennae white behind ; palpi white at base; thorax silvery white, the teguliB red and fuscous at base, a large yellow patch on meso- and metathorax edged with red aud black; pectus and legs white, the fore tibiae aud tarsi blood-red and fuscous ringed with white; abdomen pale ochreous. Tore wing yellow suffused Avith green scales; a silvery white patch at base from below costa to inner margin, defined by black and crimson; the costa brown Avith crimson and black scales below it to near middle where the crimson and black scales define a small Avhite.
