Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio at Rocca San Giovanni, Province of Chieti, Italy, overlooks the Abruzzo’s coasts. It belongs to the Verì family, the oldest family among “Traboccanti”, who migrated from countries beyond the Alps. They used coastal trees and holm oaks in order to build a simple gangway from which to harpoon fish. Gradually extended, today they keep the tradition and culture of Traboccanti alive by presenting the opportunity to live and taste the real flavors of sea and our Abruzzo’s land.
