Brown Leg- horns have long been a favorite breed with us; we are exceedingly care- ful in their mating. A setting of 15 eggs, $ BLACK M1N0RCA5. Their plum- age is pure black, large bright red comb and wattl's white ear lobes, legs of a dark slate color, being very handsome in appearance. They are the largest non- setting breed in existence, being fully one-third larger than the Leghorn, and equal to them as egg producers. Their eggs weigh from six to eight ounces more to the dozen than those of any other breed.
