Sergeant Carno, the photographer, captured this image on January 12, 1918. The photo shows Sumber Cemetery No. 70 in Aisne, France, near Bouresches. The cemetery was established by Unit 303 around October 1, 1918, and contains the remains of 130 American soldiers who were killed during the Bois de Belleau engagements.
