From 1959 the Austrian porcelain factory ÖSPAG produced the very popular dish series "Daisy". As in the postwar years it was very difficult to keep the colors constant they came up with the idea to sell the series under the name "Melange": six items in different pastel colors. The colorful dinnerware became a huge selling success. additionally it came with a 20 years availability guarantee.
