A riot police officer push journalist away using his the 18th week of civil unrest, protesters marched on the morning of China's National Day, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of People's Republic of China this year. Demonstrators chanted slogans and continued to ask for the five demands to be met. Protesters clashed with riot police and were hit with tear gas, rubber bullets, and water cannons and eventually many were arrested.
