There was one other testimonial which he valued far more than the one presented to him, valuable as that might be, and that was to ;be assured of the fact that during the ten years he had hunted the hounds he had not made one single enemy (loud applause). The number of friends he had made, none knew better than himself, and he could only add that should it ever be his lot to become a Master of hounds again—and that was his dearest wish—he hoped it might be in South Leicestershire (loud applause). Mr. Stops, the vice-chairman, then made the presentation to William Grant, the late huntsman; and after Mr. J. E.
