The Plain roundabout, Oxford, UK. The Plain is an important roundabout at the eastern gateway to Oxford where three main roads into Oxford meet. St Clements, Cowley Road and Iffley Road all converge here and it is one of the blackspots which have caused traffic chaos since the introduction of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs). The Plain leads onto Magdalen Bridge and Oxford's famous High Street.
A cyclist, Ling Felce, died after being knocked off her bike by a lorry in July 2022. The City Council has decided to install a camera to catch motorists who make a dangerous and prohibited turn off the roundabout.
