Bourdin camera. Woman using a viewfinder while operating an early French camera (Bourdin model). Several early camera designs were produced by the French photographer and inventor Jules Andre Gabriel Bourdin (1832-1893). His most famous model was the Dubroni, the name of which was an anagram of his surname. Artwork from the seventh volume (first period of 1891) of the French popular science weekly 'La Science Illustree'.
