In Chiloe mythology, the Camahueto is a bull-unicorn, the horn of which is said to restore the vitality of older men and those who have become impotent. The mythical battle between the Water Snake Goddess, Cai-Cai-Vilu, and the Land Snake Goddess, Ten-Ten-Vilu explains the origins of Chiloe Island, land surrounded by water, as the Land Snake only partially won the battle. The Caleuche is a ghost ship of drowned sailors sailing under and on top of the waters around Chiloe island.
