Air Force Tsgt Jimbell Gray and Mr. Chris Heinrich assigned to a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery team, clear debris prior to opening a dig unit during a recovery mission in Sekong Province, Laos, Feb. 19 2022. There are currently 289 missing service members from the Vietnam War believed to be located in Laos. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
