Stover, who follows farming111 ( Airfield township, and has been a resi-dent of Grand Traverse county since 1882,was born on a farm in Jay county. Indiana,on the nth day of May, 1847. His father,Jacob Stover, was born in Pennsylvania, andafter arriving at years of maturity he wed-ded Rebecca Walter, who was also a nativeof that state. Removing to the west theytook up their abode in Jay county. Indiana,and there reared their family of two chil-dren, of whom the subject of this review isthe elder.
