From the top of the lighthouse Cies you can enjoy a fantastic view of all the Cies Islands


Cies Islands, belonging to the municipality of Vigo, form an archipelago at the mouth of the river of the same name, in the Rias Baixas Galicia, in the province of Pontevedra (Spain), consists of three islands: Monteagudo, do Faro and San Martino. In 1980 the Cies islands were declared a nature reserve due to its high natural value of this area and the rapid deterioration that was suffering because of human activities. Over the years, the legal situation is changing protection until November 21, 2000, the Galician Parliament unanimously agrees to ask the central government's statement archipelago national park.
