HS2 Ltd have taken over an area of woodland in Aylesbury this week and have been felling huge mature trees late at night and into the early hours in the beautiful Spinney woodland. HS2 have been unable to provide a copy of the Natural England Licence that they must have to allow this work to take place as bat roots are believed to be present in the woods.
