De Havilland DH88 Comet racer at The Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden, Bedfordshire, May 2015


Three De Havilland DH88 Comet racers were built to contest the MacRobertson International Air Race, a race between London and Melbourne held in October 1934. This aircraft, Grosvenor House, won the race in a time of just over 71 hours.
