Table VI is a culminating event, which results in the certification of crews who’ve proven they are combat-ready and proficient at the operation and maneuvering of their Tank and its weapon systems. The Cyclone Company, has been out in the field for the last two months conducting Tables II-V in preparation for Table VI. The Cyclones were the last Tank Company within the 2nd ABCT that still needed to complete the gunnery. With the Army’s recent publicized intent to decrease the size of the force, it is well known that the 2nd ABCT is slated to be deactivated. This in turn means that this may very well be one of the last times a tank designated to the 2nd ABCT is fired. ( Army photo by Sgt.
