NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan (April 11, 2017) Members of the Make Japan Beautiful organization are shown one of the bow catapults on the flight deck during a tour aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). During the visit, the group was shown the basics of carrier flight operations including the ship’s catapults and arresting gear.
