Port Logan, The Rhinns, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland, formally Port Nessock, in the Parish of Kirkmaidon. The village was created by Colonel Andrew Macdowall (Douall), the Laird of Logan in 1818. There is a causeway which blocks the view seaward of the houses on Lower Road (Laigh Row). The location for the BBC television series 'Two Thousand acres of sky' 2001-2003.
