He was born the 4th Dec., 1739; Succeeded his grandfather, Viscount Palmerston the 10th June, 1767, and departed this life the 20th Jan., 1805. They left two sons, Henry and William; and two daughters, Frances and Elizabeth, to lament their early and irreparable loss".' From "Illustrated London News", 1865.
