Gosport, Hampshire, UK. 8th January, 2016. A woman is seriously ill after being hit by a First Eclipse Bus on the Fareham to Gosport Bus route. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 7:30 this evening. Police have cordon off the entrances near to the Bedenham Primary School. Gosport Hampshire, Friday 8th January 2016 A woman has died after being hit by a First Eclipse Bus on the Fareham to Gosport Bus route. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 7:30 this evening. Rapid response paramedics fought to save the dying woman but sadly she was declared dead at the scene. Police have cordon off the entrances near to the Bedenham Primary School. One shocked resident said she believed that the woman had been walking down the road when she was struck by the bus the E1 that was destined for Fareham. Police closed off the area and specialist collision investigators have been working at the scene in foul weather conditions.©UKNIP
