Archbishop Simeon of Brno and Olomouc attends an orthodox service in honour of the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of Saints Cyril and Methodius to Great Moravia in Mikulcice, Czech Republic, on May 25, 2013. The small town of Mikulcice once was the capital city of the Great Moravian Empire. The Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia had removed Archbishop Simeon of Brno and Olomouc, born as Radivoj Jakovljevic, from his office as a bishop of the Brno and Olomouc Diocese on March 27, 2014.
