ITHIN the last two or threeyears I have been repeatedly-told that there was a finewell-grown collection of myfavourite tribe of plants cul-tivated at Pendlebury House,near Manchester, the resi-dence of J. Turner, Esq.,; and as I was desirousto inform new beginnerswhat species bloom at aseason of the year whenFloras gifts are few and farbetween, I made up mymind to see the collectionreferred to above, surmising that I should find seme stillin flower.
