Arnold Gingrich, editor of Ken Magazine, today gave the House Committee investigating Un-American activities a letter indicating that members of the Silver Shirt Organization sought a conference in 1937 with Tom Girdler, Chairman of the Board of Republic Steel Corp. There was nothing in the letter to indicate that the proposed conference ever was held, 10/6/38
