Lubeck at christmas ICE World exhibition of giant ice statues of animal characters from the film movie of Ice Age 2 –The Meltdow

Ice World at Music and Congress Centre at the Trave river Willy-Brandt-Allee on an area of 800 square metres in a special thermal tent with a constant temperature of 8 C below zero. This temperature is necessary to keep in shape those frosted works of art some of them with a height of 6 metres. A combination of special lighting and the reflection from snow and ice will present the works of art in a stunning colourful splendour. The statues will be made of 150000 kilos of ice and 200 m? of snow by an international team of ice artists.
