A flintlock rifle/shotgun combination, Fach in Speyer, circa 1760. Octagonal, reblued barrels in mm calibre. The right barrel has eight-groove rifling. Stippled decoration at the base of the barrels. Engraved lock with the signature, "Fach à Speyer". Set trigger. Lightly carved walnut full stock with finely engraved brass furniture. The butt stock has decorative mountings showing Mars and Venus. A patchbox on the underside of the butt stock. Original wooden ramrod with horn tip and threaded iron socket. Length cm. historic, historical, 18th century, ,
