The Untertorbrücke (Lower Gate Bridge) seen through the arch of the newer Nydeggbrücke. Both bridges span the River Aare at Bern, federal capital of Switzerland. The Nydeggbrücke is a new bridge built to take modern traffic whilst the Untertorbrücke in the distance is the original crossing point of the river.
