Nicolas Rene Dufriche, Baron Desgenettes (1762-1837) treating sick and wounded in Egypt. Desgenettes was chief physician to the French army in Italy circa 1794 and in Egypt in 1798, also at Waterloo. Fell from favour on restoration of Louis XVIII. Chief physician of Les Invalides in 1832.
