Opec agreed to its first cut in production in eight years earlier this week, which immediately saw the rise in price of crude oil. Las Palmas port is used by a number of oil companies for repairs, resupplying, and for mothballing/decommissioning rigs for long periods due to the fall in oil prices and over supply of crude oil.
