John Powers, the new 52nd OSS commander, during the 52nd OSS change of command ceremony May 25, 2021, on Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. Powers is an Outstanding Graduate of the Air Force Weapons School and a senior pilot with more than 1,700 F-16 flight hours, including more than 450 combat hours supporting Operations INHERENT RESOLVE, SENTRY SHIELD, AND OCTAVE QUARTZ.
