IN these days of high pressure no teacher canafford to neglect the health of her deals not with pure spirit but with itsphysical counterpart as well. The public hasthe right to expect of its teachers commonsense as well as learning. If pupils are unableto meet legitimate demands made upon theirpowers it is an imperative duty of the teacherto find where the difficulty lies and to remedyit to the utmost extext possible. In nine casesout of ten the cause will lie in some physicaldisability which can be removed or lessened iftaken in time. The trinity of health has beensummarized by Dr. Eastman to include : i. A proper quantity of well digested andassimilated food to make good blood. 2. An ample amount of exercise to keep theblood in circulation. 3. Full and complete inspiration and expira-tion to supply oxygen and to carry off carbonicacid. Each of these health essentials refers directlyto the blood
