Inscriptions: In central field inside compasses: A MUE Lady wearing hennin & holding staff, training falcon in enclosed garden, possibly assisted by nobleman standing at her side, floral backdrop with heraldic shields (arms of Roger de Beaufort & of Canillac) Borders missing (Cavallo). The figures have been identified as Louis de Roger de Beaufort, Lord of Canillac, Lord of Aubusson & Count d'Alais, & his wife, Jeanne de Norry, whom he married in 1426. The words "A MUE" have been interpreted as referring to "Muer" meaning to moult, particularly the moulting of falcons.
