What a monster he was as he stood there,looking about! His eyes small, dull, and sullen,his long head swinging slowly from side to sideon the powerful neck, the fringed under lip dropped loose-ly, making a; hideous grin-,- ning expres-y sion and expos-ing the pur-plish gums andthe strong yel-low teeth.
