Stephan Bristow, a Colorado Springs, Colorado, native and an infantry officer with 3rd Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, conducts a 500-meter swim during the Division Leader Assessment Program 4-22 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 8, 2022. The assessment program provides Marines with learning and mentorship opportunities, which helps train and develop Marines that demonstrate an apex level of lethality, endurance and comprehensive warfighting ability.
