Calibrating a 3D measurement machine. Laser tracer calibrating an industrial coordinate measurement machine (CMM). CMMs are capable of accurate 3D measurements of complex, precision-engineered components such as fuel injection nozzles. The laser tracer increases the accuracy of the CMM by automatically mapping all errors within only 3 hours, as opposed to the traditional method, which takes up to two days and is prone to human error.
