London, UK. 7 June 2016. Works by the American artist Mary Heilmann, are previewed ahead of her first major UK exhibition, "Looking at Pictures", at the Whitechapel Gallery. The exhibition spans the artist’s five decade career, from her early geometric paintings made in the 1970s to her recent shaped canvases in day-glo colours.
