To the taste the leaves are sharp, andnave much the flavor of Peppergrass. It is excellent whenmixed with Lettuce or other salads to which it imparts a very-fine flavor. For garnishing there is nothing more grows very quickly, and to keep up a succession all summerseveral sowings must be made. We think its flavor muchimproved if bleached a few days before cutting by coveringwith boxes or boards. Per Packet, 10 cts.; 3 packets, 25 PEANUT. EARLY SWEET. Peanut, Early SWeet. This most excellent Peanut is so early it can be grown Inany State or in Canada. With us it ripens in August andproduces a good crop. The nuts are small, very compact andheavy with thin shell, and of the sweetest and most deliciousquality. Greatly superior to the larger and coarser ones. Itmakes but little top, and plants can stand three to four inchesapart in drills. It is a most interesting plant to grow North,where peanut culture is unknown, and will prove a feature ofparticular interest to the children of the family.
