An interesting native of the tableland of Central Asia is the Lhasa Terrier, of which very few have as yet been bred in Europe. In appearance this terrier, with his ample and shaggy coat, reminds one of an ill-kept Maltese dog, or perhaps even more of the dog of Havana. In the best specimens the coat is long and straight,.
