The Grinch was originally the central character of a Dr. Seuss childrens illustrated story book, entitled “How the Grinch stole Christmas”. It was created by the author and illustrator Theodor Geisel and first published in image shows a representation of the grumpy green creature as he appears portrayed by Jim Carrey in the Hollywood movie of 2000. This film, from Universal Pictures, was directed by Ron Howard and is called simply “The Grinch”.
