Colonel Jay M. Bargeron (left), 7th Marine Regiment commanding officer, and Col. Austin E. Renforth, former commanding officer, exchange the regimental colors during a change of command ceremony at the Lance Cpl. Torrey L. Gray Memorial Field here, Oct. 17, 2013. Bargeron, a native of Valdosta, Ga., previously served as the ground colonels monitor at Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Headquarters Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va. Renforth, a native of Wheeling, , will transfer to Quantico and serve as the director of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, Marine Corps University.
