Cancer of the stomach; a clinical study of 921 operatively and pathologically demonstrated cases . - (benzidin test). Clinical Diagnosis.—Aehlorhydria; ulcus carcinomatosum. X-ray Diagnosis.—Filling defect at cardia and pylorus, probable carci-noma, scoliosis. Plate shows a blunted steer-horn stomach, withmoderate dilatation, peristalsis is almost absent. On high lesser curvatureappears a filling-defect of the crater-ulcer type; the chopped-off pylorusappears to be due to a tumor. The duodenum is dilated.
