Its sectionshows a well-marked specimen of myeloid disease imbeddedbetween the plates of the lower jaw; its tissue is of theordinary friable character resembling spleen, but somewhatdecolorized by immersion in spirit, and it is intersected byfibrous septa. Two cysts may be seen in the section; these,as mentioned by the late Mr, H. Gray {Medico-ChirurgicalTransactions, xxxix.), being of frequent occurience in mye-loid growths.
