(1) humeral or descending branch which passes down bet ween the Pectoralis major and Deltoid with the cephalic vein, supplying both these muscles; it anastomoses with the anterior and posterior circumflex arteries. (2) the acromial branch which supplies the Deltoid muscle and the acromio-clavicular joint, anastom- osing with the anterior and posterior circumflex and suprascapular arteries.
