Major General Flem Walker Jr. (center), the commanding general for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, stands with 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division Soldiers, as well as Soldiers of 1109th Theater Aviation Support Maintenance Group, after presenting them with coins to commemorate their excellence and dedication to duty. Gen. Walker paid a visit to Lifeliner Soldiers here in Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22, 2018, in order to wish them a ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ and to commend them on their outstanding service while deployed.
