Dr. Pineo is a descendant of the Rams-dells and Leightons of England. He is theson of Benjamin C. and Cordelia W. (Bams-dell) Pineo. His father was a stone con-tractor of Columbia, Maine, in moderate cir-cumstances. It was here that Willard wasborn, April 22, 1858.
