It is clear that, notwithstand-ing all the achievements of that distinguished family, they havesignally failed at one point, in not fixing things so that theycould claim me as a descendant. So most of what I shall say toyou to-day will be as an outsider. But I am happy on the otherhand to see that by going back a little farther we can claim acommon Peiiiiiiiiaii ancestry.
