Portugal, Alentejo: Prehistoric stones Cromlech of Xerez


The Cromlech of Xerez is one of the most important megalithic monuments in the Alentejo region. It has been replaced after the creation of Alqueva barrage to it´s actual location near Orada Convent. The menhir and monolithic stones are prosumed to date of 4000 to 3000 before Christ.
