A trip to Alaska and the Klondike in the summer of 1905 . eady for the harvest. A feeling came over A Trip to Alaska and the Klondike. 115 me that I had been out of the world, as it were, andwas returning to civilization. Soon great cities were reached, and then myown, seeming all the more smoky, hot and dirtyafter the clear, pure air my lungs had been drinkingin for so many days.
